Mrs. Wilma Hillman, 84, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Fair and Will Brawley on Dec. 22, 1935.
Mrs. Wilma loved reading books, listening to music, dancing, going for car rides and watching her husband fish.
Mrs. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, William Taft Hillman Jr.; daughter, Laverne Hillman; son, Ronald White; granddaughters, Cherelle and Towanda; grandson, Christian; sisters, Alma Watkin, Agnes Todd, Elizabeth Glasco; and brothers, Roosevelt Easom, Willie B. Easom and President Easom.
She leaves to cherish her legacy daughters, Babara Gillard and Carolee Hillman; sons, Kenneth Hillman (Deborah) and Robert Hillman (Virginia); 14 grandchildren, Ronald Jr., R.J., Chasity, Luccy, Shanea, Shayla, Nesha, Nakia, Rashaunda, Lashaunda, Rhonda, Farah, Tara, Kia; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Services will take place at New Hope Full Gospel Church, 501 N. McCann St., Saturday, July 25, 2020. Family hour will be from 10 a.m. to noon, and services will start at noon. Pastor Elliott Faison will be officiating. Internment will take place at Sunset Memory Garden.
