Vivian Embry 93, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on January 16, 2018.  She was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a Sunday school teacher for 60 years, sang in the choir and served on the Usher Board.  She supported Haitian efforts and veteran causes, along with the Red Cross.  She also supported and contributed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Kokomo Rescue Mission.  She loved her family and was a role model to all.  She contributed in raising her sister Ruth Jane’s children after her passing.  Surviving are her daughter, Margaret A. Parker; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, four sisters, and one brother.  Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24 at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 819 Apperson Way, Kokomo, Indiana 46901, with the Rev. Dr. William J. Smith the officiant and eulogist.  Calling will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery.
