Thomas Lee Buckner

October 18, 1941 — March 1, 2020

Thomas Lee Buckner, 78, of Kokomo, passed Sunday, March 1, 2020, at 2:03 p.m. while at Silver Birch Assisted Living Facility.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and was formerly employed as an assembler for Delco Electronics.  Thomas was also of member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, serving on the Usher Board.  An avid chess player, he also loved reading an assortment of books, especially the Bible.

He dearly loved his family and leaves to cherish his memory his sons: Antoine L. Eddington of Kokomo, Eric L. Baker (Kioshi) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Tremayne L. Buckner (Kayla) of Kokomo; daughters: Techelle T. Baker of Arlington, Texas, Katisha R. Tehandon (Salvador) of Kokomo; sisters: Shirley A. Clouser (Steven) of Ontario, Ohio, and Virginia L. Stitts of Kokomo; 17 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren, and a host of many other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Tuesday, March 10, at 11:00 am with calling from 10:00 am until time of services at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, 1599 E. Sycamore Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46901.  Floral tributes may be delivered to the church beginning one hour prior to time of calling.  Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery.
