Mrs. Shirlene Mechelle Austin - Carter, 49, of Indianapolis, transitioned from labor to reward on the morning of Friday, June 29, 2018.
She was a member of Sanders Temple C.O.G.I.C. Shirlene owned a Day Care Center and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking and dining out.
Shirlene leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, loving husband, Walter Carter, III; children: Austin Walter Carter, IV, Ayden Ashton Carter, Shirelle, Mechae' Austin and Tymerra Shirmae Carter; Godson, Da'Michael Austin Bible; siblings: Janet Clayton, Ruby J. Austin, Lisa Y. Austin- Williams (Charles), Dorothy V. Austin, Sylvia L. Austin and Tammy C. Austin-Bible; 4 grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
The visitation is Friday, July 6, 2018, 9am - 11am with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11am at Sanders Temple C.O.G.I.C. The interment will immediately follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
