Samuel Vernon Collins, Jr.

44, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017. He was born April 6, 1973 in Kokomo to Samuel V. and Barbara J. (Brown) Collins Sr. After graduating from high school, he worked in various factories. Aftern giving his life to Christ, he became a member of Strait Gate Total Needs Ministries. He is survived by sons; Deion Minter, Logansport, Samuel V. Collins III, Washington, DC, Darian (Madison) Collins, Lafayette, Indiana, and Morey Collins, Kokomo; daughters; Kimyata Williams, Anderson, Indiana, Shayna Collins and Jamise Lloyd, both of Lafayette, Indiana; mother, Barbara Corbin; stepfather, Kenneth A. Snow; brothers, Kenneth (Courtney) Collins and Myron Corbin, both of Kokomo; sisters, Tjuanda S. Collins and Corine (Vaughn) Warwick, both of Kokomo, and Angela McAnerney, Cleveland, Ohio; and two grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
