Ruben Thomas Reece

Mr. Ruben Thomas Reece, Sr., age 87, passed March 20^th, 2020 at 6:45pm in St. Vincent Hospital of Kokomo, Indiana.  Mr. Reece was born to the late Frank and Lizzie West Reece, in New Marston New Madrid, Mississippi.  He was retired from The Pottery after 25 plus years of service.  He was the Co-Founder of Sandy’s Janitorial Service.  He was an entrepreneur that accomplished numerous self-developed projects.  His legacy will be remembered in his community.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing cards.  On several occasions, he attended Grace Memorial Church with his wife Rosalee. 

He is survived by his brother, George Reece of Kokomo, IN; grandchildren Rev. Marrissa Kendrick-Sow, Danielle Kendrick, and Shanea Gold; and great grandchildren, Demarius Warren, Jalen Gold, Mar’Koya Kendrick, Ma’Kaylah Kendrick, and Ti’Mya Rush-Kendrick, and a host of other family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalee Reece; his son Ruben Reece, Jr.; and his daughter Patricia Reece.

Special note: Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we will implement advisory visitation and attendance processes to assist with protecting everyone in attendance who wishes to pay their respects for Mr. Ruben Reece and his family.
