Reverend Perry Carter

Reverend Perry N. Carter,Jr. was called from labor to reward in the early morning hours of March 31, 2020.   Born in Madison, Tennessee, Reverend Carter was a resident of Indianapolis for 65 years.  He attended Crossroads Bible College and loved Teaching and Preaching.  He served well for many years at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church.  He also enjoyed traveling and loved cooking.  He will be truly remembered as a great Man of God.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving Mother, Allie Mae Carter; daughters, Quinetta "Lynn" Thaxton, Keyiona S. Carter, brothers, Vernice Dexter Carter of Indianapolis and Michael Poitier Carter Love of Michigan City, Indiana; sister, Betty J. Haynes; 4 grandchildren and a host of many other loving relatives and friends.
