Ora Lee Pollock

Mrs. Ora Lee Griffin-Pollock was born May 4, 1937 to Fred Douglas Griffin and Estella "Stella" Gully Griffin in DeKalb, Kemper County Mississippi.During her early life she joined Mars Hill Church in Collinsville, MS.  She was a graduate of Longdale High School in Philadelphia, MS.  She married the love of her life, Lake Pollock, Sr., on May 10, 1959.  They relocated to Indianapolis, IN the same year.  Ora enjoyed her family and loved spending quality time with them.  Her favorite past-time was gardening.Ora was called by God to her eternal rest at Rosewalk Nursing Home on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the age of 80 years.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Lake Pollock, Jr.In addition to her devoted husband, she will be lovingly remembered by her brother; Hubert Ray Griffin, Collinsville, MS; sister; Estella Griffin Trussell, Meridian, MS; grandchildren, Patrick Weaver Pollock, Alexander Pollock, and Sara Davis all of whom she raised as her own; great-grandchildren, Patrick Weaver, Jr. and Josiah Dowell; brother/nephew, Tom Grant and a host of other relatives and friends.Services:  Visitation - 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2017, Service:  6:00 p.m.  Eastside Baptist Church 2845 Baltimore Ave., Indianapolis, Rev.
