Michael D. Byrd

Mr. Michael Byrd, age 60, passed away on June 8, 2020.  He was a fork lift driver for Micro-Melt of Indianapolis where he was employed for over 25 years.  Spending time with is family and friends is one of the things he enjoyed most. 

He was united in Holy Matrimony to his loving wife Mary J. Woodard Byrd who he leave to cherish his memory along with his sons, Michael D. Byrd, Jr. and Mario D. Byrd; daughters, Latosha Anderson (James), Rondae R. Byrd (Andrew Webb), Jasmine Jimmerson; brothers, Steven Boyd, Patrick Boyd, Anthony Boyd (Valencia), and John Langston; sisters, Rhonda Turner, Zella Yates (James); best friends, Lesley and Timothy; eight grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of his life will be Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Eastside Baptist Church, 2845 N. Baltimore Avenue Indianapolis, Indiana 46218, at 11:00 am with calling from 10:00 am until time of services.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until time of services. He will be laid to rest in New Crown Cemetery.

Floral tributes may be delivered to the church beginning one hour prior to time of visitation.
