Mrs. Katie Ruth King, 83, of Indianapolis, transitioned from labor to reward on the morning of October 29, 2018.
She was a member of the 28th Street Church of God in Christ, where she was a Mother and had been a Trustee. She retired from the National Labor Relations Board and JP Morgan Chase.
Mother King leaves to cherish her memory, loving husband, Abraham Joseph "Joe" King; stepdaughters Toni M. King and Terri J. Jones; brother in law, Earl L. King of Manteca, CA; sister in law, Sherri Brodgon (Delbert) of Youngstown, OH; cousins, Joyce N. Apple and Roy Lee Ross and a host of extended family and friends.
The visitation is Saturday, November 3, 2018, 10am - 12pm, with service at 12pm at 28th Street C.O.G.I.C., 630 W. 28th Street, Indianapolis. Interment will immediately follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
*Floral and Memorial tributes should be delivered to the Church on Saturday after 8:30am.
