Karen Lynn Akers

Ms. Karen Lynn Akers, 67, of Indianapolis, transitioned from labor to reward on January 20, 2019.

Karen leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate her life, mother, Mary Torrence; children: Stacy L. Harris, Harrison J. Akers, Harold J. Akers, Michelle D. Akers and Paula R. Akers; siblings: Sandy Torrence, Bobby Torrence, Audrey Taylor, Carol Torrence, Lee Ann Forney, Sherri Taylor and Monte Johnson; 13 grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. 

The visitation is Wednesday, January 30, 2019, 11am - 12pm, with service at 12pm at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. The burial will immediately follow in Sutherland Park Cemetery.
