John H. Sims

John H. Sims was born July 9, 1965 to his parents, Clarence Barnes and Bettie Sue Sims Moss in Pace, MS.John was a member of  True Belief Missionary Baptist Church.  He was employed as a welder for Standard Changemakers for 25 years.  John loved BBQing, being with family and friends and was an avid fisherman.  He loved working with his hands in the construction industry.  John departed this life on July 26, 2017, at the age of 52.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his brothers; Herman L., Cardell (Brenda), Roy L. (Trisha) and James E. Sims, sisters; Gloria Sims Donaldson, Jacqueline S. Hart, Theresa A. Sims; children he loved and raised as his own, Keisha Burrough and Billy Burrough, Jr., his little Princess Jayline A. Ferguson and Jashawn Edwards; significant other, Anna Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Visitation:  10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, August 5, 2017.  Service:  12:00 p.m. True Belief Missionary Baptist Church, 4829 E. 38th Street, Indianapolis.  Burial: New Crown Cemetery.
