James G Barton, III

Mr. James G. Barton, III, 50, of Indianapolis was called from labor to reward on the afternoon of October 5, 2019.  He was a member of the Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed watching football and basketball, and loved playing spades, an most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish many precious memories, his loving parents, James G. Barton, Jr, and Erma Barton; fiance' DeVonna J. Carlisle; son James Q. McDowell-Barton; sisters, LaTonya Breedlove (Norman), and LaKisha Barton; one grandchild and a host of many other relatives a friends.

Services will be Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 12:00 noon with calling from 10:00 am until time of services at Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 3101 E. Raymond Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46203.  He will be laid to rest in New Crown Cemetery.  Floral tributes may be delivered to the church beginning one hour prior to time of calling.
