Fredricka Bush

Ms. Fredricka Bush, aka "Fred", 61 of Indianapolis passed away on October 20, 2017 at S. Vincent Hospital.  Her services will be Saturday, October 28th at 11:00 am, with calling from 9:00 am at Robinson Temple COGIC located at 441 W. 15th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202.  Floral tributes may be delivered to the church beginning one hour prior to time of calling.Fredricka was born to Willie Bush and Alberta Bush.  She graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1974.  After high school she worked at American United Life for numerous years.  Fredricka changed her career to pursue nursing.  She attended Ivy Tech College where she received an Associate Degree in Nursing.  Fredricka then began work as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Winona Hospital for ten years.  She then worked at the Alpha Home for many years as well as volunteered at the Indiana Black Expo Health Fair for over 20 years.She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilie Sr. and Alberta Bush, and brother Johnny Allen.Fredricka is survived by her daughters, Acacia, Ivy, Courtney; and son Kenneth, Jr. and their father, Kenneth Sr.; her grandchildren, Ameenah, Miniimah, Marcus, Iyna, Diamond, and Courdale; brothers, Willie Bush, Jr. (Cynthia), and Randolph Bush (April); and her loving nieces, nephews, and numerous relatives.One of Fredricka's favorite past times was shopping with her "Roadie" Callie.  A couple of unknown facts is that Fredricka took martial arts classes and was a seamstress.Fredricka was a fighter who fought until the end.  Fredricka was kind, loving, and willing to help anyone in need.Services entrusted to Bluitt and Son Funeral Home.   www.bluittandson.com
