Franklin M. Barnett

Mr. Franklin M. Barnett, 67, of Kokomo, transitioned from labor to reward on the morning of March 21, 2018. He was preceded in death by his daughter and grandparents. He leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, children: Demitrius D. Barnett, Sr., Evie T. Barnett, LaVeta C. Humphries-Beard (Mica) and Toshia Allen; siblings: Charles Barnett of Corinth, Mississippi, Lloyd R. Barnett (Vickie) of Indianapolis, Stanley L. Barnett (Stephanie) of St. Charles, Illinois, Georgia Allen (Robert) and Joy Wells (Gregory); aunt, Dorothy Bails of Ripley, Mississippi; 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. His visitation is Wednesday, March 28, 2018, 9am – 11am with the service at 11am at Second Missionary Baptist Church and is being officiated by Rev. Dr. William J. Smith, Jr. The interment is in Crown Point Cemetery.
