Edith Johnson

Edith "Edie" Mae Johnson, 67, passed away Aug. 11, 2020.  Born May 24, 1953, to the late Robert Lee Collins and Georgia Lou Burns in Heth, Arkansas, she was raised by her late grandparents, Robert and Edith Mae Kiles

Edie married the love of her life, Leo Johnson Jr., Nov. 5, 1994. She was a member of Wayman A.M.E. Church in Peru, Indiana. She served in the Indiana National Guard and also worked for Delphi Electronics, a division of General Motors, Indiana Packers and Goodwill.
Edie was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Johnson Jr., parents and grandparents.

Edie leaves to cherish her loving memories a stepson, Anthony "Tony" (Milagros) Johnson; special friend, Catherine Powell; several grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Service is Saturday, Aug. 22, at noon, with calling from 11 a.m. until service time at Bluitt and Son Funeral Home, 511 E. Monroe St., Kokomo. Pastor Charles E. Glenn is officiant and eulogist. Live stream will be available.  Floral tributes may be delivered to the church beginning one hour prior to time of calling.
