Donald Lawrence Rivers

Donald Lawrence Rivers was born to Ulysses and Sarah G. Rivers on February 9, 1945 in Bronx, New York. His family later relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana. Donald graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1963. Donald served in the United States Marine Corp and served on the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Donald was employed at Navistar Inc. for 30 years and retired in 2002. He was an active member of the Local Union #226.Donald departed this life on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the age of 72. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Robert, Michael and Denise Rivers.Donald leaves to cherish his memory; his daughter, Donna M. Ward (Beacher); grandsons, Beacher A. Ward Jr., Jeremiah A. Ward, and Joshua A. Ward; nieces, Cathy Morton (John), April Rivers, Dominique Rivers; nephews, Michael U.
