Constance J. "Connie” Waters passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017. She was born April 18, 1938, in Kokomo, the daughter of Alonzo Brown and Laura (Nicholas) Taylor. She graduated from Kokomo High School in 1956 and attended Kokomo Business College. Connie worked for Delco Electronics and retired after 30 years of service. Connie was united in Holy Matrimony to Thomas Waters on Jan. 19, 1957. She was a member of Second Baptist Church while living in Kokomo. She also was a member of SCORE while residing in Kokomo. She then moved to Indianapolis and later to Las Vegas, where she became of member of Genesis 2 Christian Center and the MS Lunch Club. Connie's parents, former spouse Thomas, and son Jeffery D. Waters, preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Waters, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Robin Waters Clardy, Indianapolis; sisters, Margaret Broadus and Evelyn Berry, Indianapolis; granddaughter, Stevie Marie (Aaron) Gillum, Chicago, Illinois; grandsons, Dexter Clardy, Bloomington, and Evan Gray, Las Vegas, Nevada; and a host of nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Services will be at noon Saturday, Dec. 9, with calling from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Second Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. Robert Lee is the eulogist.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cleveland Clinic, Las Vegas Nevada.
