Cecil Small

Mr. Cecil Small, 78, passed away at 1:45 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2020, at Kokomo Health Care. He was born Oct. 24, 1941, to the late Alvin Lee Small Sr. and Geneva Rosa Williams Bennett in Blytheville, Arkansas.

Cecil was a member of the Kokomo community for 60+ years and retired from Chrysler Corp. in Kokomo. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 685. Cecil enjoyed bass fishing tournaments, outdoor grilling, traveling, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Cecil leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Martha; children, Robert "Bobby" Small, Bryson Small, Tyree (Yvette) Young, of Phoenix, Denise Perry, Angela Small, Crystal Small, Derise (Nathaniel) Washington, of Lafayette, and Jessica (Darryl) Malone, of Indianapolis; siblings, Iona Richard Jordan, of West Memphis, Arkansas, and Rosie McGee, of South Haven, Michigan; also, special cousin, Jerry C. (Ellen) Bennett, of Grand Prairie, Texas; 28 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Cecil was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Alvin Small Jr.

Services are 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, with calling from 9 a.m. until service time at Strait Gate Ministry, 312 E. North St., Kokomo. Pastor Jack Woodard is the officiant and eulogist. Interment is at Crown Point Cemetery.
