Conaron Lyles

Conaron Lyles passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017. He was the son of Condolious and Virgie Lyles, born Sept. 18, 1935, in Shannon, Mississippi. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Air Force in 1956 and was given an honorable discharge March 9, 1965. Before leaving for the Air Force, he married his life love, Dorothy Jean Sevier. They relocated to Kokomo where he worked for Delco Electronics retiring after 34 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, his parents and brother, Adam, and a sister, Iris J. Ford. He will be forever loved and remembered by his brother, Oliver Paul Lyles, Shannon, Mississippi; special niece, Mona R. Smith, West Lafayette; special nephews, Michael Ford, Alexandria, Virginia, Corkey H. Ford, Lincoln, Nebraska; special niece, Tanya Sevier, Canton, Michigan; brother-in-law, Donald Ray (Terry) Sevier Sr., Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan; and sister-in-law, Elaine (Robert) Jones of Detroit, Michigan. Services will be noon Saturday, Dec. 9, with a calling from 10 a.m.until the time of service at Bluitt and Son Funeral Home, 511 E. Monroe Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46901. Entombment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.  Floral tributes may be delivered to the church beginning one hour prior to time of calling.  Arrangements were by Bluitt and Son Funeral Home.  www.bluittandson.com
