Mr. Anthony L. Jones, 49, of Kokomo, transitioned June 4, 2020, at his residence in Kokomo, Indiana.
Anthony was born on May 28, 1971, in Kokomo, Indiana, to Mr. Harvey Lee Nix and Mary Strons. He was a graduate of Kokomo High School and attended DeVry University, Kansas City. Anthony was formerly employed by Chrysler Corp., Indiana Packers, and Elsa LLC. He was also a former member of the Moville Groundshakers Motorcycle Club.
On Sept. 8, 2018, he married his true love, Casey Sharp-Jones. Anthony was a member of the Everlasting Dominion Fellowship. He enjoyed working on motorcycles, fishing, and watching the sports channel. His sense of humor was always displayed as he was an avid joke teller and smiled all the time. He showed a tremendous amount of strength as he was a fighter in every way. He had so much love for his family and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and especially his grandchildren. Anthony was known for his generosity to help all people and had a huge loving heart. He was very respectful and was loved and respected by all.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Casey Jones; son, Jacob Michael; daughters, Jazmine Jones, Haley Hounchell, Jala Jones, Meghan Brumfiel; brothers, Robert Nix, Billy Nix, Kenneth Nix, Harvey Nix Jr., Darnel Jones (Debbie), Dwayne Jones (Ashley); sisters, Veronica (Scott) Meriwether, Maria Jones, Patricia Perrigan, Dolores Aikens, Barbara Matthews, and Versia Nix; grandchildren, Jace Jones, Julianna White, Jalyn White, Anthony Greer, Khaidyn Greer, Eli Michael, and Layla Price; multiple nieces and nephews; and "Bentley," his pitbull.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, James Jones and Jeffery Nix.
Mr. Jones' service will be noon Friday, June 12, with calling from 11 a.m. until time of services at City of Refuge Church, 1001 E. Lordeman St., Kokomo, IN 46901.
