Alexis C. Bankhead

Alexis C. Bankhead passed away September 10, 2019 at the tender age of 27.  She loved drawing and was a tattoo artist.  Alexis also loved to dance and enjoyed writing books.  Alexis had many friends who she enjoyed hanging out with.  She loved her family who will miss her dearly.

She leaves to cherish her memory, father, Andre' Bankhead, Sr.; mother Jacqueline Forrest; brothers, Andre' Bankhead, Jr., and Andre' Forrest-Bankead, III; sisters, Korie and Soniyah Bankead, Kirsten Forrest, and Deanna Mayberry; grandfather, Norman Thomas; and a host of many other relatives and friends.

Services will be Friday, September 27, 2019 at 11:00 am at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 1301 N. Goodlet Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46201 will calling from 9:00 am until time of services.  Burial will be in New Crown Cemetery.  Floral tributes may be delivered to the church beginning one hour prior to time of calling.
