77, passed away March 22, 2017. Born in Talladega, Alabama, he was the son of Charles and Alice (Collins) Glover Sr. After receiving his formal education, he graduated from Freemont Ross High School, class of 1957. He enlisted and served in the United States Air Force, where he also played softball and was on the traveling team. He relocated to Kokomo where he was employed and retired from Chrysler Corp. He was a member of the local UAW #685 and the Road Knights MCC. Giving his life to Christ he became a member of Strait Gate House of Prayer. Clarence was the first African American Disc Jockey in the city of Kokomo and affectionately known as "C.G. the Player". He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Michael Glover; daughter, Tracie Brame, both of Kokomo; brother Charles (Ann) Glover Jr., Freemont, Ohio; sisters, Florence (Noah) Chatman, Newport News, Virginia, and Alice Makins, Toledo, Ohio; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 29 at Strait Gate House of Prayer with calling from 10 a.m. until time of service. There will be an additional visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday March 28 at Strait Gate House of Prayer. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
