Lisa Rene Taylor was born January 22, 1967 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the eldest child of William and Essie Taylor. Lisa attended and graduated from Southport High School in 1985. She attended Ivy Tech College and received her Associate's Degree in Child Development. Lisa was a hard worker and worked for Industrial Laundry, US Post Office, and Indianapolis Day Nursery & Home Goods. Lisa professed her faith in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Grace Memorial. Her love for the Lord was evident by her service. She was: First Lady of Paraclete MBC; President of Ministers & Deacons-Southern Fellowship Pastor; President of the Nurses Board; and Choir Director of Paraclete Life. Lisa married Darryl Taylor in 1987. To this union nine children were born. Lisa loved spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife who loved her husband and was his biggest fan. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Lisa departed this life unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. She was looking forward to celebrating her 31st wedding anniversary and her 50th birthday. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Essie Williams; husband-Rev. Darryl Taylor; sons, Darryl, Jr., Michael, Christian, Jacob, and Israel Taylor, Zach Thomas, and Bryant Williams; daughters, Tiffany Taylor, Lauren Taylor, Raquel Ockletree (Jonathon) and Amariah Taylor; brothers, William Taylor Jr. (Shlon), Morris Terry Jr., Vershon Terry (Clara), Desmond Terry, Herbert Terry (Elizabeth) and Evan Terry; and a host of other relatives and friends.
