Susan J. Cunningham

Susan J. Cunningham was born on August 4, 1961 in Sylacaugua, Alabama to the union of James C. Cunningham and Susie M. Cunningham. Susan lived in Hammond, Indiana until 2005 when she moved to Indianapolis.  Susan was a graduate of Hammond Tech High School class of 1981 and pursued her license in Cosmetology.  She later pursued her passion for serving others by learning the restaurant industry.  She often worked as a Sous Chef, master grill cook, or prep chef.  Susan was busy honoring her skills by serving on the opening of two family restaurants, as well as, working for the prestigious Guckenheimer catering company.  Susan most recently was employed with Oasis, a premiere event and catering company.  Throughout Susan's life and career, one thing remained clear... she left a lasting impression on everyone that knew her because of her zest for life and passion for excellence.  Susan was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James and Susie Cunningham.  She leaves to cherish her memory five sisters, Carolyn (Wiliam) Chase, Saynora Cunningham-Hopson, Danette (Sylvester) Richardson, Debra (Rommey) Brew, and Angela (Ronnie) Hall, 23 nephews and nieces, and many loving friends.
